Create Your First AI Employee

Click on AI Employee in the left sidebar.

Follow the prompts that ask for your Industry, Company name etc.

Click the dropdown and choose the most appropriate template.

If what you want to do is truly custom, you can skip using the bottom left button, but for your first AIE, following the guide makes the most sense.

If you wish to purchase a phone number to use with Voice AI, you can do so now, or you can click "Skip/Manual" for the next stage.


You don't need to watch this, you can click away, do something else for a few minutes and come back. If you get any kind of error message, just refresh the page, 99% of the time, that puts the AIE in it's place.

Once it's loaded, click into it and you'll be at the stage where you can start really getting to grips with the system.

First, I'd change the icon in the top left. 

Then take a long hard look at the system prompt:


Make sure it has as much information as possible about what you want it to do, and how you want it to do it.

Underneath this, you'll see:

These are the stages of the conversation, and the "Test Chat" will allow you to test how the bot performs.

The trick now, is to go step by step and make sure it's doing what you want it to do in each stage of the conversation.

Opening message is what the AI Employee will open the conversation with:

As you go through the stages, they'll all look like this:

 

Where you can change the name of the stage and provide instructions for what the AI Employee should do during that stage of the conversation.

The "Trigger CRM Action" lets you perform actions when users reach this stage:

You can also control where the AI Employee can move to in the conversation in the "Conversation vision".

The idea being you get to control where the AI can move to here:

 

So much of the above is going to be down to what you want to build with your AI Employee, what their goal is and how you want them to be able to communicate, however this guide gives you a thorough understanding of all parts of the "Edit & Test" tab inside the AI Employee.
