Check if email opened/clicked

In the automation flow builder, you'll need to setup a url shortener.

Drag the "Send Email" step onto the canvas, give it a custom name by clicking where it says "Send Email", then click on "Settings"

Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar and you'll see the URL shortener section.

Choose 0 for the expiry and click save.

Now you need to add the "Wait for Email/SMS Click/Open" to the canvas.

The right sidebar will open up with all the options.

Here you'll be able to choose which emails you want to monitor.

This is also why setting a custom name for each email is so important, so you can identify which is which, otherwise they'll all say "Send Email".

Choose whether you want to wait for open, click or fail and choose the "Wait timeout".

Please note the giant yellow warning sign. Custom SMTP and Gmail cannot be detected.

You'll need to use Sendgrid, Mailgun or AWS.
