How to forward your emails to the inbox

Our Inbox works by providing you with an email forwarding address that you can use to pass mail from your email provider directly into the platform Inbox.

Whether you're using Gmail, Sendgrid, Mailgun or AWS SES for your emails, you'll want to create domain based email rules with your domain registrar or hosting provider to forward mail to the "Inbound Email Forwarding Address".

The reason why we use Email Forwarding for the inbox is so you have a copy in your email inbox, as well as in the Inbox in the platform.

To setup these email forwarding rules, you'll need to login to your domain provider.

Different providers, will have different ways of doing this, but this is the screenshot from inside Namecheap.

You can create individual email forwarding, for specific inboxes, or "Catch-All" forwarding which will pass all incoming emails to any address through to 1 inbox in our platform.

Please note if you use Gmail/Google Workspace, you'll have to login to your account and edit their forwarding settings which can take a few hours to come into effect.
